“The purpose of a writer is to keep civilization from destroying itself.”
—Albert Camus

Due to the insatiable greed and subterfuge of today’s power elite, the peril being faced by humankind grows even more grave every single day. Corporate hegemony, economic apartheid, government subterfuge, and profit-driven perpetual wars are moving this planet to the very brink of extinction.

Everyday ordinary Black, White, Brown, Red, and Yellow people in the U.S. and throughout Mother Earth, though we are the ongoing targets of the national and global corporate/military elite, still have an enormous potential to collectively stop and reverse humanity’s manipulated headlong rush towards its own extinction.

We must understand that we ordinary people are not innately powerless. We have been programmed into a state of manipulated powerlessness.

Ordinary people in this nation and around the world are force-fed a diet of outright lies, half-truths, distortions, and myths. This diet is the enslaving narrative of the avaricious power elite. It is a diet that ‘neutralizes’ the application of critical thinking and common sense. It is a diet of poison propagated and perpetuated by the national and global elite’s corporate-stream ‘news’ media and other systemic so-called ‘educational’ institutions.

The corporate-owned drone man, Barack Obama, and his Democrat and Republican party cohorts are driven by their desire for unfettered economic, political, and social power. In other words, their repeatedly demonstrated motivation is to manipulate, divide, and control everyday people, not to serve them.

In-keeping with the continuing emaciation of this planet and its people by a power-hungry and relatively tiny national and global elite, the rush towards humanity’s extinction remains very real. While everyday ordinary people, especially in this nation, are distracted and diverted by the incessant disinformation of the corporate-stream media, the rich are becoming richer and the poor and struggling ordinary people are becoming much poorer.

The elite are blinded by their insatiable appetite for wealth and power, despite the fact that it could ultimately mean their own demise. This is what being power-hungry is all about. It is a form of systemic madness. They can never have enough wealth or power no matter what horrors this means for everyday ordinary people or for the planet as a whole.

It is absolutely necessary for ordinary people to collectively band together and dethrone this insane blood sucking power elite while there is yet time. This must be done not only to throw off the yoke of political, economic, and social oppression—it must be done to save Mother Earth herself. The greed, corporate hegemony, imperialism, militarism, and perpetual wars being fanned by the U.S. corporate/military elite, if not stopped, will sooner or later, result in the extinction of humanity as we know it. This cannot and must NOT be allowed.

We ordinary people are not powerless but we must recognize that our power to bring about serious systemic change is a collective one. And our leadership must also be collective. It must consist of everyday ordinary Black, White, Brown, Red, and Yellow people. It must be about serving the needs of the people—not the greed of the few.

Real change will only be brought about by we ordinary everyday people ourselves, from the bottom up—not the top down.

We must save ourselves, each other, and our precious Mother Earth. Everything—literally EVERTHING—is at stake. Time is of the essence! We will not allow ourselves to be made extinct.

Remember: Each one, reach one. Each one, teach one. Onward, then, my sisters and brothers. Onward!
