Email from Phil Restino sent to Larry Pinkney and others on June 27, 2013:

Black Panther veteran Larry Pinkney on Obama, the Nation & the World (must see)

Hello All,

Larry Pinkney, a veteran of the original Black Panther Party formed in 1966, was recently a guest in the Austin, TX studios of Infowars Nightly News.  The following 45-minute video captures Pinkney’s take on the deception of President Barack Obama and the state of the Nation and the World which we are currently living in.  We encourage you to not only take the time to view the video, but to also post and/or forward it to your respective websites, blogs and email distribution lists.

Because of his background, and his actually being one of the few original Black Panthers who is still alive or not behind bars due to the substantial COINTELPRO campaign against them … and because he has been coming out strong against the deception of Obama since 2007 … Larry Pinkney is a frequent guest on shows such as the Alex Jones Show, The Power Hour with Joyce Riley, the Jack Blood Radio Show, Traces of Reality with Guillermo Jimenez, The Progressive Radio News Hour with Stephen Lendman, and many others.

Pinkney is a veteran of the original Black Panther Party, a 10-year political prisoner in some of the most violent prisons in California and Canada in the late 60’s and early 70’s, a life-long peace and social justice activist, an editorial board member and weekly columnist for both The Black Commentator and Intrepid Report, and a fellow who has become a very special friend to me over the past couple of years since I reached out to him in response to his July 21, 2011 article calling for the Impeachment of Barack Obama for War Crimes entitled Is it time to impeach Barack Obama? linked at http://www.blackcommentator.com/436/

Larry Pinkney quickly added his name to the growing list of high-profile Americans such as Gold Star Mother and Antiwar Activist Cindy Sheehan, Native American Activist John “Splitting the Sky” Boncore, International Law Professor Francis Boyle, and former Congresswoman and U.S. Presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney, who had already publicly endorsed the resolution calling on the U.S. Congress to immediately begin impeachment proceedings against President Barack Obama for war crimes … the resolution that was passed the following month by the rank and file membership of Veterans For Peace at its annual national convention on August 6, 2011.  For the complete text of the resolution to Impeach President Obama for War Crimes, see http://www.veteransforpeace.org/who-we-are/governance/vfp-resolutions-passed/149/#Resolution%202011-7

Now Pinkney is more determined than ever to wake up not only his fellows in the Black Community but as he so often says, the“everyday ordinary Black, White, Brown, Red, and Yellow people of this nation”, to the dangerous fraud that is Obama and the phony Democrat-Republican, Left-Right system we’ve been operating in.  A complete on-line clearinghouse of Larry Pinkney’s body of work, to include radio and TV appearances, is linked at

On the February 18, 2013 edition of the monthly “We Cannot Be Silent” radio show on WolfSpiritRadio.com, Larry Pinkney related one of his incredible experiences while in prison in California where there was a lot of killing going on between the different racial groups in the prison and how he created a peace by stepping up to defend in “wardens court” a leader in the White Arian Brotherhood.  We can’t encourage you enough to listen to this 17-minute audio of Larry telling the story and then share it with others.

“It’s not enough to be against war. Everyone is against war. We must expose the Big Lie that the war is based on. And that Big Lie is the political narrative regarding the events of September 11th, 2001.” – Prof. Michel Chossudovsky to KPFA’s Bonnie Faulkner of ‘Guns and Butter’ in October 2001

“It is our responsibility, and as one VFP member stated, our sworn duty, to uphold the Constitution and impeach this criminal president. As citizens, every one of us is complicit in his crimes. By virtue of that complicity, we are compelled not only by the law but by morality and history to do whatever we can to stop this war of aggression and these crimes against humanity. The Nuremberg Tribunals following World War II did not favorably judge the first nation the world determined had waged a war of aggression, nor its “good citizens” who obeyed their government.” – Mike Ferner, Former National President of Veterans For Peace speaking on behalf of Veterans For Peace at Impeachment Rally in Washington, DC on 16 June 2005″

“Let me tell you: there’s only one thing worse than a soldier dying in vain; it’s more soldiers dying in vain.” – Senator Mike Gravel on the War in Iraq, U.S. Presidential Debates, 23 July 2007

“The reason why American troops are being killed is because American troops are in other people’s countries.” – CFVFP’s Phil Restino to Mike Dunston of Fox-35 TV News Orlando, 3 May 2011
