\n\u201cThe\u00a0pretense<\/strong>\u00a0in disputed elections is that the great conflict is between the two major parties.\u00a0The reality is<\/strong>\u00a0that there is a much bigger conflict that\u00a0the two major parties jointly<\/strong>\u00a0wage<\/strong>\u00a0against large numbers of Americans who are represented by neither party<\/strong>\u00a0and against powerless millions around the world.\u201d
\n-Howard\u00a0Zinn<\/p>\n“…the two parties have combined against us<\/strong>\u00a0to nullify our power by a \u2018gentlemen\u2019s agreement\u2019 of non-recognition, no matter how we vote… May God write us down as asses if ever again we are found putting our trust in either Republican or the Democratic parties.\u201d<\/strong>
\n-W.E.B. Du Bois<\/p><\/blockquote>\nThe November 6, 2012 election sham in this NDAA, police-state, \u2018America\u2019 amply demonstrated 1) the insidious\u00a0two-party dictatorship\u00a0<\/strong>and stranglehold of and by the corporate owned, symbiotically-joined, Democratic and Republican parties; and 2) it highlighted, to the discerning observer, the enormous (almost evenly split)\u00a0division and<\/strong>\u00a0polarization<\/strong>\u00a0in the so-called \u2018popular vote\u2019 on the part of those eligible voters that participated in this election farce. Keeping the people controlled, polarized, and divided is of course precisely how the Democratic and Republican parties maintain their political dictatorship.<\/p>\n
Hideously, billions of dollars were spent by Barack Obama and Mitt Romney in this \u2018election\u2019 sham even as joblessness, home foreclosures, economic austerity, corporate hegemony, and perpetual\u00a0U.S.\u00a0wars continue –\u00a0unabated.<\/strong>\u00a0Yet again, the everyday ordinary Black, White, Brown, Red, and Yellow people of this nation have been shamelessly pimped and sucker punched. The corporate-stream media raked in many millions of dollars by propagating this election sham even as the ordinary people of this nation remain in the political and economic death-grip of corporate owned, war mongering Democratic and Republican parties.<\/p>\n
Due, in very large measure to the U.S. corporate-stream media\u2019s strategic omissions, diversions, obfuscation, and complicity, most U.S. citizens remain\u00a0utterly unaware<\/strong> of, or even how, Barack Obama and the Democratic and Republican party misleadership\u00a0of this nation have, in reality, made\u00a0null and void\u00a0<\/strong>our perceived civil liberties, and our constitutional, human and political rights. They remain unaware of the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act of 2012), signed by Barack Obama on December 31, 2011, with its provision mandating that U.S. citizens, and anyone else in this nation, can be\u00a0indefinitely<\/strong>\u00a0imprisoned\u00a0without<\/strong>\u00a0charge, jury, judge, or legal defense. Moreover, they remain unaware of the bloody, unconscionable and\u00a0horrific ramifications<\/strong>,\u00a0for\u00a0U.S.\u00a0citizens and non-U.S. citizens alike, of Barack Obama\u2019s despicable and unconstitutional \u2018Kill List.\u2019 They remain unaware of how this\u00a0war mongering corporate Trojan horse<\/strong>\u00a0Barack Obama,\u00a0in the name of\u00a0<\/strong>\u201chope,\u201d \u201cchange,\u201d and of moving \u201cforward,\u201d has shredded the U.S. Constitution and will soon seek to shred Social Security for the poor, the disabled, and the disenfranchised. Obama, and his Democratic and Republican cohorts and corporate-stream media allies, will pursue these actions in the very name of moving \u201cforward,\u201d through the repeated and incessant use of subterfuge, double-speak, and disinformation, just as he adroitly shredded the single-payer universal health care option, despite the expressed wishes of the huge majority of people in this nation.<\/p>\n
Dancing in the blood of the people<\/strong><\/p>\n
The collaboration, by certain so-called \u201cprogressives\u201d and \u201cleftists,\u201d with Barack Obama and the corporate owned U.S. Empire must never be forgotten, for theses persons are not<\/strong> covered, in the words of Jonathan Jackson,\u00a0by \u201cthe mantle of ignorance.\u201d<\/strong> They, like Obama and his Democratic and Republican cohorts, are the de facto purveyors of economic austerity, the\u00a0U.S.\u00a0police-state, and perpetual\u00a0U.S.\u00a0wars abroad. No doubt their motives may vary, but demonstratively, they have nothing whatever to do with serving the urgent legitimate needs and aspirations of ordinary people\u00a0in this nation and throughout<\/span>\u00a0Mother Earth<\/span>. The Empire must be ended at home and abroad – NOW!<\/p>\n
As they celebrate Barack Obama\u2019s systemic election sham victory, they are in fact dancing in the blood<\/strong>\u00a0of the murdered peoples of\u00a0Libya\u00a0(North Africa),\u00a0Somalia\u00a0(East Africa),\u00a0Pakistan,\u00a0Syria,\u00a0Bahrain, and\u00a0Yemen, etc. They are also dancing in the blood and agony of the many political prisoners\u00a0right here<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0this<\/span>\u00a0nation, even as they pretend<\/strong>\u00a0to be so concerned about the economic and social well-being of the ordinary people of the\u00a0United States!<\/p>\n
Some of these so-called \u201cprogressives\u201d\/\u201dleftists,\u201d including much of the \u2018black intelligentsia,\u2019 in their unswerving and unprincipled support for re-installing Barack Obama as head of the U.S. Empire, astoundingly argued that \u201cThe 2012 Elections Have Little To Do With Obama\u2019s Record<\/strong>…\u201d In fact, Obama\u2019s record as head of the U.S. Empire is one of war, corporate hegemony, the NDAA, the \u2018Kill List,\u2019 and constant hypocrisy and subterfuge. Thus, how could anyone in their right mind genuinely or seriously argue that\u00a0\u201cObama\u2019s record\u201d<\/strong> is of\u00a0\u201clittle\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0importance?!<\/p>\n
Nevertheless, these so-called \u201cprogressives\/leftists\u201d urged that –\u00a0Obama the Democrat<\/strong>\u00a0– be re-installed, rather than calling for serious, real, and unequivocal systemic<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0change NOW! Their actions indicate that they do not want to end the Empire – they want to join it. They cannot have their cake and eat it too. Either they support the U.S. Empire or they do not.\u00a0There is no in-between<\/strong>. I reiterate, these persons \u201care\u00a0not<\/span>\u00a0covered by the mantle of ignorance\u201d and the blood of the peoples of this nation and world soaks them completely.<\/p>\n
So, as they celebrate Obama\u2019s sham \u2018election\u2019 victory – think of them and know who and what they really are, and what they have done by collaborating with the Empire! As each and every one of Barack Obama\u2019s predator-drone missiles dismembers bodies and kills babies, women, old men, and entire families – be sure to\u00a0remember<\/strong>\u00a0these Obama supporters. With each and every victim of Barack Obama\u2019s extrajudicial \u2018Kill List\u2019 – remember these so-called \u201cprogressives\u201d and \u201cleftists,\u201d for there is no acceptable rationale on Mother Earth that can excuse their actions! As Obama\u2019s police-state apparatus grows ever more insidious and stronger\u00a0here in this nation<\/span>\u00a0–\u00a0remember their betrayals.<\/strong> Do not forget it for even a moment. But also keep in your mind and heart that this is a\u00a0long and protracted struggle<\/span>, and that there have always been those betrayers of the aspirations, and of the foot soldiers of the everyday people\u2019s struggle. Ultimately however, the struggle by everyday people of all colors\u00a0will be triumphant!<\/strong><\/p>\n
With all\u00a0the afore\u00a0described corporate\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0fraudulent so-called \u201cleftist\u201d support, it was certainly no surprise that Barack Obama was re-installed. As I made clear in an October 26, 2012\u00a0interview<\/a>, in all probability, the corporate-owned war president, Barack Obama, would be \u201cre-installed\u201d because he is (for the historical moment) \u201cthe perfect ghetto uprising insurance\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0and is an\u00a0insidiously effective \u201cTrojan horse\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0for the U.S. and global bloodsucking corporate elite.<\/p>\n
Our task\u00a0remains<\/span>\u00a0to stay\u00a0principled and determined<\/strong>\u00a0in this struggle. Do not become side-tracked or disheartened! We must\u00a0intensify,<\/strong>\u00a0for in\u00a0some<\/span>\u00a0respects, this 21st century aspect<\/span>\u00a0of the people\u2019s struggle has only just begun!<\/p>\n
Remember: Each one, reach one. Each one, teach one. Onward, then, my sisters and brothers. Onward!<\/p>\n
